Tshisekedi dénonce un monopartisme de fait en RDC

Etienne Tshisekedi, le président national de l'Union pour la Démocratie et le Progrès Social (UDPS) a dénoncé un monopartisme de fait en Rd Congo, le dimanche 25 avril 2011 au stade Père Raphaël où il célébrait le 21ème anniversaire du lancement du processus de démocratisation au pays.

"Si aujourd'hui, il n'y a pas de parti unique, tout se passe comme s'il y avait un parti unique. Sans être un policier ni militaire, un membre du PPRD arrête des gens. A l'intérieur du pays si tu n'es pas du PPRD, tu n'es pas tranquille," a dit Etienne Tshisekedi.

Il a poursuivi en déclarant que les droits de l'homme sont inexistants en Rd Congo. "Nous attendons qu'on nous montre le véritable assassin du grand défenseur des droits de l'homme Floribert Chebeya. Chebeya était connu, mais ceux qu'on tue aujourd'hui et qui ne sont pas connus sont nombreux."

Il a dénoncé le pillage des entreprises publiques par ceux qui dirigent le pays, car ils mettent les cadres de ces entreprises dans l'impossibilité de travailler. Il a martelé que l'UDPS combattra la corruption et le détournement des fonds publics.

le président national de l'UDPS a terminé son message en demandant à chaque congolais d'être prudent quand il sera dans l'isoloir et de voter pour le changement.

Avec ses 50.000 places assises, le stade Père Raphaël était trop petit pour contenir tous les militants de l'UDPS et des partis amis comme le MLC de Jean- Pierre Bemba, l'UNC de Vital Kamerhe, le PALU de Mme Pakasa, etc...

DRC: A dead-and-mute reads during a Mass

A deaf-and-mute did the second reading in a Mass of Palm Sunday. That mass was said by the archbishop of Kinshasa, Cardinal Laurent Monsengwo, at Martyrs stadium in Kinshasa.

When the deaf-and-mute was reading, a priest translated his gestures.

According to the Mass moderate, Kinshasa diocese is promoting the deaf-an-mute pastoral.

After his reading, the deaf-and-mute was blessed by the cardinal.

Tshisekedi said, DRC is going to a major political crisis

Etienne Tshisekedi, the national president of a Congolese political party, UDPS, wrote to the electoral commission about its calendar electoral project that “Democratic Republic of Congo is going hastily to a major political crisis if the electoral commission, CENI, organizes the presidential election after September 5, 2011.”

The older opponent recalled that the fundamental law asks the electoral commission to organize of presidential election 90 before the end of the mandate of the current president. This mandate expires December 6, 2011.

Etienne Tshisekedi thinks that organization of election after September 5, 2011 is the failing of the calendar electoral project of the electoral commission.  

DRC: The first lady visited a musician

Mrs Olive Lembe Kabila, the Joseph Kabila's wife, visited Lutumba Simaro, a musician at his house located in Lingwala, one of the 24 municipalities of Kinhasa, in DRC.

It was a courtesy visit which occured Saturday, April 2, 2011.

"I'm moved by the visit of the first lady in my house. She wanted to eat 'fufu', (a congolese meal) cooked by my wife, but my wife in Europe now," said the guitarist Lutumba to the national television.

Lutumba Simaro and Tabu Ley are the last living monuments of DRC music. Lutumba worked during a long time with Luambo Franco in Ok Jazz and is the composer of many songs as 'Maya'. 'Mabele'...

According to some Congolese, this visit was in the context of election wich will take place this year; the first lady does canvass for her husband.
